Hedera just put major U.S. stocks onchain. Tokenized versions of Apple, Tesla, and MicroStrategy shares are now live on the network. That gives HBAR a direct stake in one of crypto’s biggest narratives right now.
What Went Live on Hedera
The Hedera Foundation’s blog confirms the details of the launch. The rollout comes through a partnership with Swarm, a real-world asset protocol.
Shares get issued under Swarm’s EU Prospectus Regulation approval. Each token stays backed 1:1 and comes with insolvency protection. Both retail and institutional investors can access them.
Hedera’s redemption pool also lets users skip the traditional market’s T+2 settlement delay entirely, converting tokens back to cash almost instantly.
Enterprise Names Keep Adding Weight to Hedera’s Story
Tokenized stocks aren’t Hedera’s only recent enterprise win. McLaren Racing joined Hedera’s governing council earlier this year, expanding the network’s list of global brand names participating directly in governance.
Each addition builds the same case. Real companies keep choosing Hedera’s infrastructure for real use cases.
Weekly Chart Shows the Rally Cooling From Its Peak
HBAR traded at $0.094086 as of 13:04 UTC on September 26, 2026, up 16.6% over seven days, per CoinGecko.
The chart shows a sharp climb from around $0.08 on September 20 to a fresh high above $0.10 on September 23. Price has pulled back since, settling near $0.094.

That’s a healthy cooldown after a strong run, with price still holding well above where the week started.
The Regulatory Door Is Swinging Open in the US
Tokenized equities still make up a small slice of the broader RWA market, roughly $1.43 billion, or just over 4% of tokenized assets onchain.
That could change soon. The SEC has been preparing a framework that would let crypto platforms trade tokenized versions of public stocks in the U.S., potentially through an “innovation exemption.”
That framework could open the door to 24/7 equity trading across both centralized and decentralized platforms, a shift that would matter directly for any network already running tokenized stocks like Hedera.
Institutional Money Is Circling the Same Opportunity
BlackRock backed a new $1 billion crypto liquidity network earlier this year, part of a broader wave of institutions building real infrastructure around tokenized assets.
That’s the same wave Hedera is positioning itself inside of with this stock launch.
Whether Trading Volume Follows the Headline
A tokenized stock launch is one thing. Real trading volume behind it is another. The technology and regulatory backdrop both look supportive right now.
The open question is whether investors actually start using these Apple, Tesla, and MicroStrategy tokens at scale, or whether this stays a headline feature that few people touch.
