Hedera just landed a listing that could matter more than most enterprise headlines.
The Hashgraph Group became an IBM Silver Partner. Its IDTrust platform, built on Hedera, is now live on the IBM Cloud Catalog.
That puts Hedera-powered technology directly in front of IBM’s global customer base.
What Was Announced
The Hashgraph Group’s press release confirms the full scope of the deal. IDTrust is a self-sovereign identity platform. It issues verifiable credentials for AI agents, devices, and humans.

The listing makes it the first commercial Hedera-based enterprise application sold directly as a SaaS product through a major cloud marketplace.
THG also signed a global Embedded Solution Agreement with IBM, covering cloud and AI technology. That deal lets THG integrate IBM’s tools directly into its own products.
A Familiar Pattern of Enterprise Names Joining In
This isn’t the first time a major name has strengthened Hedera’s enterprise story. McLaren Racing joined Hedera’s governing council back in March, expanding its role in blockchain-based digital innovation.
Each council member operates a network node and contributes to governance. That model has steadily pulled in more global brands over time.
IBM’s move here goes a step further, turning governance participation into an actual product listing.
Why This Listing Matters More Than It Sounds
IBM has sat on Hedera’s governing council since 2019. This deal builds on years of existing ties, not a cold introduction. The timing lines up with real demand too.
Gartner expects 40% of enterprise applications to include task-specific AI agents by the end of 2026, up from under 5% a year earlier.
IDTrust’s compliance with the EU AI Act and eIDAS 2.0 positions it well for that European enterprise wave, where regulatory pressure is pushing adoption forward.
Price Chart Shows the Rally Losing Some Steam
HBAR traded at $0.090075 as of 13:16 UTC on September 24, 2026, up 20.2% over seven days, per CoinGecko.
The chart shows a strong climb from around $0.075 on September 18 to a fresh high above $0.101 on September 23. Price has pulled back since, settling near $0.090.

That’s a healthy cooldown after a sharp run, not a reversal, with price still holding well above where the week started.
The Bigger Question Still Hanging Over HBAR
Hedera has faced this exact tension before, where enterprise fundamentals keep building while the market takes its time catching up. An IBM Cloud Catalog listing is a real, tangible step.
Whether it converts into actual transaction volume, and whether price eventually reflects that, is the part still left to prove.
