Chainlink Hits $34T in Enabled Transactions — The Infrastructure Race Is Heating Up
Chainlink just crossed a number few crypto projects ever reached. The oracle network’s Transaction Value Enabled hit $34.18 trillion, according to Chainlink’s metrics page, the cumulative dollar value of transactions that have relied on its infrastructure.

That’s $34,000,000,000,000 flowing through systems powered by the network.
Why This Metric Matters
Transaction Value Enabled isn’t a market cap or a trading volume figure. It measures real usage, every DeFi loan, every derivatives trade, every tokenized asset transfer that depended on Chainlink’s price feeds or cross-chain messaging to function correctly.
Most of the global financial system hasn’t plugged into this infrastructure yet, which is exactly the pitch behind Chainlink’s long-term thesis: LINK captures value from usage growth, not speculation alone.
Total Value Secured Is Climbing Just as Fast
A separate metric backs up the trend. Chainlink’s DeFi Total Value Secured expanded from $33.98 billion on August 7, 2026 to $39.8 billion by September 8, about $6 billion jump in a single month, according to DeFiLlama’s oracle dashboard for Chainlink.

Growth on both fronts, cumulative transaction value and live secured value, points to expanding adoption rather than a one-off spike tied to a single announcement.
LINK’s Price Reflects the Momentum
LINK trades at $12.49 on September 8, 2026 (13:00 UTC), up 9.7% over seven days.
The token touched $13.64 the day before, its strongest level since January 18, 2026, up 94% from its June 22 low. The chart shows the shape of that run.
Price held between $11 and $12 through most of early September, then broke sharply higher to peak near $13.60 on September 7, before pulling back to settle at $12.49.

Despite that surge, LINK is still up just 4.7% year to date, trailing Ethereum’s 30.1% gain over the same 30-day stretch, a reminder that this month’s rally is recovering lost ground rather than setting new highs.
What This Means for the Infrastructure Race
Techgaged tracked the broader tokenization trend this milestone sits inside, noting how tokenized real-world assets crossed $27 billion on-chain earlier this year, activity that depends heavily on oracle infrastructure like Chainlink’s to function safely.
Techgaged also flagged the regulatory groundwork forming around this same sector. It noted the SEC’s ongoing work on rules for tokenized equities, a category that will lean on price feeds just like DeFi already does.
A $34 trillion usage figure doesn’t guarantee LINK’s price keeps climbing, but it does confirm the infrastructure race Chainlink is running in is real, and it’s still early.
