CryptoQuant made a bold call this week. The firm said Bitcoin has entered a new bull market.
Three signals back up that view. CryptoQuant’s report, published August 25, 2026, calls it a “regime shift.”
The Three Pillars
Spot demand is the first pillar. It’s growing at its fastest pace since late December. ETF flows are the second. US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $1.92 billion during the week ending August 21.
That’s their strongest week in months. Momentum is the third. Spot and futures demand are now rising together. That hasn’t happened since early October 2025.

Techgaged previously tracked this same recovery taking shape, when Bitcoin’s rebound pulled Ethereum, Solana, and BNB higher alongside it.
The Bull Score Jump
CryptoQuant’s Bull Score tells the story in one number. It jumped from 30 to 80 in a single week.
That’s the highest reading since October 6, 2025. Back then, Bitcoin traded near $124,000. Eight of the index’s ten indicators now flash bullish.
This isn’t just a price story. It’s a broad shift across demand, profitability, and liquidity.
The Key Level to Watch
CryptoQuant isn’t calling this confirmed yet. The firm wants a daily close above Bitcoin’s 365-day moving average.
That level sits near $83,000. Bitcoin traded at $78,020.82 as of 10:21 UTC on August 30, 2026, per TradingView’s monthly chart. The RSI reads 50.82.

That sits right at neutral. The 14-period moving average sits close by at 53.56. Momentum looks steady, not extreme.
Techgaged flagged a similar setup earlier this month, when Bitcoin held above $77,000 as traders braced for a major options expiry, a level that’s still acting as a floor today.
CryptoQuant has called major cycle shifts before. This is the same firm behind those calls. Three pillars are lining up together right now. Spot demand.
ETF flows. Momentum. That combination doesn’t happen often. A close above $83,000 would confirm the shift outright. Until then, expect some chop. The setup still favors buyers over the next few weeks.
