The Simpsons called it: Crypto influencer recounts predictions as XRP grows
A crypto influencer has recalled The Simpsons, claiming it predicted XRP’s current state in one of its episodes.
In a tweet on 13 September, Amelie said the current crypto market was planned a long time ago and XRP is the center of attraction.
The Simpsons and crypto
The Simpsons is a popular TV show that has been airing since 1989. It is one show that has predicted several key events in the history of the world, including the emergence of Donald Trump as president.
It also accurately predicted the coming of Bitcoin which started the crypto revolution. Since then, it has accurately predicted some key trends in the crypto space and for those who have been following it, one episode has painted a picture of the current condition of crypto.
In the episode, a college professor named Frink develops his own cryptocurrency named Frinkcoin, which skyrockets beyond expectation and makes him very rich. Amelie implies that Frinkcoin is XRP, and the rest of the crypto space rallies around it.
This perspective is coming as the token is gaining massive attention in the crypto space. Several analysts have predicted that it is on the verge of breaking out to reach unprecedented price levels.
Several indicators are pointing towards increasing investor confidence, such as the withdrawal of tokens from exchanges to private wallets.
Altcoins heating up
It isn’t only XRP, but other altcoins are also gearing up for a rally commonly known as altcoin season.
Several analysts have also agreed with this and believe that an altcoin season is imminent. Indeed, XRP is one of the top performing assets so far, and if the altcoin season happens, it will still be a leader as it has gathered much attention over the years in the most unlikely way.
