Toyota Unveils new Land Cruiser ‘FJ’ in dazzling world premiere

Toyota has unveiled the new Land Cruiser “FJ” during a big premiere event and is scheduled for launch in Japan by mid 2026.

According to a news release on 21 October, the new SUV will be unveiled at Japan Mobility Show 2025 to be held from October 30 to November 9.

Built with users in mind

The Land Cruiser “FJ” was designed to give customers all over the world the best experience with reliability, durability, and off-road performance, ensuring passengers can go anywhere and everywhere without worrying about safety.

Originally launched as the Toyota BJ in 1951, the Land Cruiser immediately became the first vehicle to climb to the sixth station of Mount Fuji, and still maintains that standard to this day.

The core Land Cruiser model, one of three series, was created in 2024 as a return to the car’s origins, with a simple, sturdy design that helps fulfill customers’ lifestyle choices and practical needs, also known as the 250 Series.

What’s new?

There are three notable things about the Land Cruiser “FJ” — an exquisite interior and exterior design, unmatched performance and mobility, and unique customization.

The interior and exterior design was carefully done to combine the traditional feel and modernity which characterizes the SUV with exceptional safety features.

By combining off-road performance and mobility, the Land Cruiser “FJ” also brings ease and agility to the compact SUV.

Toyota also promises to make customization options available, in addition to the current features that make the vehicle more practical for everyday use.
