BMW Pioneers Alexa+ Integration in Vehicles

The partnership with Amazon takes in-vehicle conversational AI to a new level. It is the first time conversation with cars goes from simple structured voice commands to natural and intelligent.

BMW will be combining the power of Alexa+ technology with AWS’s robust cloud infrastructure to provide superior voice capabilities and transform the entire process of its automotive design. 

A Big Leap in BMW’s technology

Before now, BMW was already a major force in the automotive industry. Already, the company integrated hands-free AI driving in its new iX3 in September in addition to other technological advances. 

However, Alexa+ integration is a game changer for the interactive voice control of its vehicles. As the pioneer automaker to use the technology, this puts BMW ahead of the voice control game in the auto industry.
