As the mobile phone industry keeps advancing and spewing out better, cooler, and more attractive products, a new Pixel Watch 4 leak has revealed even more surprising hardware upgrades, besides those already leaked earlier.

Indeed, amid Google confirming it will hold its hardware event on August 20, when it should demonstrate its Pixel phones, watches, earbuds, and other devices, a new leak about the Pixel Watch 4 has appeared, revealing possible specifications for the 41mm and 45mm models.

What new Pixel Watch 4 leak unveiled

Specifically, a report by Android Headlines from July 16 has suggested that Google is adding a brighter display and a new co-processor it calls M55 to the upcoming smartwatch, the latter allowing it to handle five times the “AI workload at a fraction of the power.”

Furthermore, the larger battery in the 41mm model can reportedly offer 30 hours of use with always-on display in action, increasing the range to 48 hours when battery saver is on. By comparison, the 45mm model provides around 40 hours of always-on work and as much as 72 hours in battery-saving mode.

On top of that, the report adds that Google has equipped its upcoming smartwatch with side-charging support. Plus, there’ll be a ton of sensors, such as a compass, altimeter, gyroscope, barometer, magnetometer, ultrawideband, ambient light sensor, red and infrared SpOs monitors, ECG app-compatible multipurpose electrical sensors, 3-axis accelerometer, and a multi-path optical heart rate sensor.

Earlier, Android Authority revealed that the Pixel Watch 4 will feature the same processor as its predecessor – the Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1, as well as both models boasting larger batteries. Besides, another leak has indicated that the device will appear in five colors – Black/Obsidian, Gold/Lemon, Silver/Iris, Silver/Porcelain, and Moonstone.

Elsewhere, Google released Android 16 on Pixel devices in June, with features such as more streamlined, grouped, and up-to-date notifications for compatible apps like ride-shares and food delivery, native remote control for hearing aids, added security with Advanced Protection, and more.
