Apple recently released the iPhone 17 phone which has been widely accepted for many improvements, but it’s not all there.

As of 10 September, fans are still expressing disappointment at the fact that it lacks a critical iPhone feature — the Apple Polishing Cloth.
What is the Apple Polishing Cloth?
The Apple Polishing Cloth is a piece of cloth made with soft, nonabrasive material that can effectively and safely clean Apple displays, including nano-texture.
While this sounds like something that can easily be replaced, apparently it is a part of the iPhone package that users take very seriously.
Because of its absence in the iPhone 17 phones, Apple users have expressed much disappointment, some calling the phones “useless”.

In the image shared by this X user who’s also likely an iPhone user, several models were listed in the compatibility section but not the iPhone 17, thus sparking criticism.
Some users have changed their minds about buying the phone this year until the polishing cloth is updated to work with iPhone 17.
This can be a potentially huge setback for Apple, as this is its most important product release so far this year, and potentially for the whole year.
A good phone nonetheless
On the flipside, the iPhone 17 is a great phone that comes with different major improvements that older versions don’t have.
For example, it comes with a 48MP camera, WiFi 7, and a lot more. Apple said the phone’s center stage camera completely revolutionizes video calls by ensuring that users remain centered in the frame through intelligent tracking.
The phone also features a much better battery life than has ever been seen in iPhones, and a massive 256GB storage which is double the entry storage from the previous generation, with a 512GB option.
