Elon Musk confirms wild features for Tesla Diner Supercharger

Shortly after the Tesla Diner Supercharger was announced in Los Angeles, Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, confirmed that some of the wildest details about the features of the deluxe Tesla charging stations slash restaurants revealed on his social media platform X were, in fact, true.

Specifically, X account Tesla Joy posted that an attendee of the Tesla Diner’s ‘test opening’ shared their experiences of the place, including the ability to order food right from your Tesla vehicle’s interface as you listen to the audio from the massive jumbo screen in the same menu system, on July 18.

Tons of fun features

On top of that, the visitor said that meals arrive in a fun Cybertruck-shaped packaging “complete with wooden utensils styled like popsicle sticks but infused with a sleek cyber aesthetic,” that the food is “on sturdy metal trays, and kids get their own themed placemats.”

Additionally, the bathrooms come equipped with luxurious Toto toilets, and there’s also tons of Tesla Diner merchandise available for purchase, including hats, shirts, and more, as well as a “captivating display case showcasing Optimus,” and, of course, as many as 80 V4 supercharging stalls.

Elon Musk confirms it all

And that’s not all. The items on the menu include basic diner foods like burgers, hot dogs, grilled tuna sandwiches, cookies, shakes, floats, breakfast sandwiches, and more. Below the Teslarati post citing Tesla Joy, Musk himself joined in the conversation to comment simply that all of this was “True.”

Meanwhile, Tesla is yet to confirm a date for the Supercharger Diner’s official grand opening, but all the recent revelations point to it not being far away now, possibly even happening this week, as the company will report its earnings on July 23.

Elsewhere, Tesla Robotaxi has already overtaken its biggest competitor, Waymo, in the size of services area in Austin, Texas, shortly after hitting the streets there, all the while making a joke about it with its peculiar, phallic shape on the map.
