Can’t afford OpenAI’s Sora? See how you can get it for free on Bing mobile browser
Bing web browser has launched a video creator powered by OpenAI’s Sora, allowing users to create videos for free.

Named Bing Video Creator, the new tool released on 2 June lets users of the mobile browser create videos using their words.
All they have to do is describe what they wish to create and the app does the rest, just like Sora.
More than just web browsing
Bing has been a popular web browser for years, but it is taking its role a notch higher by making it possible to create videos using Sora.

With the new tool, you can create short videos that reflect your imagination, giving it life through an AI-generated video.
The video creator is launching on the mobile app first, and can be accessed by simply installing the Bing browser on a mobile device. There are plans to launch it on desktop and within Copilot search soon.
How to use the tool
Anyone can easily use the tool to generate AI videos, because it does not require any technical knowledge.
To do that, follow these steps.
- Install the Bing mobile browser on your device
- Open the Video Creator within the Bing Mobile app by clicking on the menu in the bottom right corner and selecting “Video Creator”, or simply search for “Create a video of…” in the Bing Mobile search bar for quick access.
- Next, type in the description of the video you want to create in the prompt box. For best results, provide additional context, description, and details.
- Now click “Create” and the tool will create your video and you’ll be notified when it’s ready.
The catch is that videos are only 5 seconds long, but they can be created in 9:16 format with 16:9 format coming soon.
Up to three video generations can be queued up at once, but only one will be processed at a time.
Generated videos are held on the tool for up to 90 days, during which time you can download or share with your friends, and if necessary modify your prompts to create a better one.
