A green Jeep Cherokee
SUV automaker Jeep is set to unveil the 2026 Jeep Cherokee in late 2025 with a completely new redesign.
According to a press release on 29 May, the company is reimagining the design from the ground up, leading to an all-new Jeep Cherokee.
Redefining the Jeep experience
Part of the reason for the complete redesign of the new Jeep Cherokee is to spice up the experience for North American users where Jeep is a popular brand.
The new model will bring midsize SUV customers a new, efficient and powerful hybrid propulsion option, taking the user experience to a whole new level.
Commenting, Bob Broderdorf, Jeep CEO said:
“The all-new Jeep Cherokee headlines our efforts to deliver more product, innovation, choice and standard content to customers than ever before. Jeep Cherokee will boast competitive pricing that strikes at the core of the largest vehicle segment and sits perfectly between Jeep Compass and Jeep Grand Cherokee to bolster our winning mainstream lineup.”
Jeep vehicles are known for their rugged design and resilience, which makes them suitable for all kinds of journeys in all terrains, and the new Cherokee won’t be left out of this pattern.
While the vehicle will be aesthetically beautiful, it will also retain the strength to enable customers embark on any adventures of their choice off the road without fear.
Model details
The vehicle will have a hybrid powertrain, but there’s no information on whether it will be a traditional hybrid or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
Jeep already offers these hybrid models though, in addition to ICE propulsion systems, plug-ins, and all-electric models.
There’s also no information on where the vehicle is being built, and how much it will cost, but it could be a bit on the high side considering that it is undergoing a complete upgrade from the ground up.
