Toyota Crown cars lined up
Toyota has launched its all-new Crown Estate model in Japan, marking the commencement of sale of the SUV.
In a press release on 13 March, the company said the vehicle was inspired by the “making ever-better cars,” concept which it adopted to develop a variety of vehicles based on a highly flexible platform.

Celebrating 70 years of innovation

The Crown was first launched in 1955, making it 70 years since then.
With the “making ever-better cars” ideal through TNGA and the in-house company system, Toyota unveiled four models with different personalities as part of the Crown series in 2022,.

These models are the Crossover, Sport, and Sedan, with the Crown Estate now as the fourth. Armed with dynamic styling and functionality, the SUV ensures drivers can enjoy an active lifestyle with family and friends with a “Mature Active Cabin.”
The car comes in hybrid (HEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models to cater to a wide range of customer lifestyles.

This elegant-looking SUV comes in five monotone body colors and five bi-tone body colors to create a lineup that is suitable for a wide range of lifestyles.
To ensure a sense of exclusivity, the PHEV model also features an exclusive Precious Metal x Massive Gray bi-tone body color that distinguishes it.

For those who like to travel with a lot of luggage, this vehicle features a large trunk that can be expanded by collapsing the rear seats.

Also based on the Mature Active Cabin concept, the suspension is tuned to maintain precise steering and a high-quality ride, so that passengers can enjoy long drives comfortably without experiencing fatigue.

Leading auto innovation
Toyota has been leading innovation in the automotive industry lately. It recently launched a new fuel system for hydrogen commercial and heavy duty vehicles.
The Japanese auto giant is also expected to release three electrified SUVs by May this year as part of its movement towards carbon zero.
